Song of Songs 7

In this chapter, the young man and woman are propositioning one another, as they both communicate their desire to physically be together. Here’s a taste of the young man’s words: “Oh, how delightful you are, my beloved; how pleasant for utter delight! You are tall and slim like a palm tree, and your breasts are like its clusters of dates. I said, ‘I will climb up into the palm tree and take hold of its branches,’ Now may your breasts be like grape clusters, and the scent of your breath like apples. May your kisses be as exciting as the best wine, smooth and sweet, flowing gently over lips and teeth.” (Verse 6-9)

Read the rest of the chapter for yourself and immerse yourself in the poetry of these two lovers.

Lord, thank you for your Word today! Help us hold our mates in the highest esteem, treating them with respect and honor always! Lord, we love you!

May the Lord bless you and protect you. May the Lord smile on you and be gracious to you. May the Lord show you his favor and give you his peace.” (Numbers 6:24-26)

….AND MAY WE ALL PRACTICE THIS WITH ONE ANOTHER.
