Psalm 99

In this song of praise, the psalmist tells us to exalt the Lord, for He is holy. Here’s the psalm in its entirety: “The Lord is king! Let the nations tremble! He sits on his throne between the cherubim. Let the whole earth quake! The Lord sits in majesty in Jerusalem, supreme above all the nations. Let them praise your great and awesome name. Your name is holy! Mighty king, lover of justice, you have established fairness. You have acted with justice and righteousness throughout Israel. Exalt the Lord our God! Bow low before his feet, for he is holy! (Yes, Lord!)

Moses and Aaron were among his priests; Samuel also called on his name. They cried to the Lord for help, and he answered them. He spoke to them from the pillar of cloud, and they followed the decrees and principles he gave them. O Lord our God, you answered them. You were a forgiving God, but you punished them when they went wrong.

Exalt the Lord our God and worship at his holy mountain in Jerusalem, for the Lord our God is holy!" (Psalm 99)

Lord, thank you for your Word today! Help us grow closer to you. Help us establish a relationship with you that encourages you to answer us when we cry out to you. For having such a relationship and feeling your presence is the most satisfying feeling in the world. Lord, we love you!

May the Lord bless you and protect you. May the Lord smile on you and be gracious to you. May the Lord show you his favor and give you his peace.” (Numbers 6:24-26)

….AND MAY WE ALL PRACTICE THIS WITH ONE ANOTHER.
