Psalm 150

Wow!!! This is the last psalm…what a blessing! Lord, you have allowed us to complete another book of your Word! Thank you!!!

In this song of praise, the psalmist commands everything that lives to praise the Lord. Here’s the psalm in its entirety:

“Praise the Lord!

Praise God in his heavenly dwelling; praise him in his mighty heaven! Praise him for his mighty works; praise his unequaled greatness! (Yes! Who is greater than the Lord?!?) Praise him with a blast of the trumpet; praise him with the lyre and harp! Praise him with the tambourine and dancing; praise him with stringed instruments and flutes! Praise him with a clash of cymbals; praise him with loud clanging cymbals. Let everything that lives sing praises to the Lord! (Yes!!!)

Praise the Lord!” (Psalm 150)

Lord, thank you for your Word today! As we conclude this wonderfully written book, I noticed that it ended with several lessons encouraging us to praise the Lord. And then I realized the whole book was about praising the Lord. In the introduction of the book of Psalms it tells us that the ultimate goal of each psalm is to praise the God who created us. With that, Good People, learn and commit to praising the Lord with all your heart each and every day! Lord, we love you!

May the Lord bless you and protect you. May the Lord smile on you and be gracious to you. May the Lord show you his favor and give you his peace.” (Numbers 6:24-26)

….AND MAY WE ALL PRACTICE THIS WITH ONE ANOTHER.
