Psalm 133 - A song for the ascent to Jerusalem. A psalm of David.

In this song of praise, David packs a powerful message in this short psalm. Here’s the psalm in its entirety: “How wonderful it is, how pleasant, when brothers live together in harmony! For harmony is as precious as the fragrant anointing oil that was poured over Aaron’s head, that ran down his beard and onto the border of his robe. Harmony is as refreshing as the dew from Mount Hermon that falls on the mountains of Zion. And the Lord has pronounced his blessing, even life forevermore.” (Psalm 133) (Wow! Soak this psalm into your spirit! What a powerful understanding of what our relationships with others (our brothers, our sisters, our friendships, our children, our parents, our relatives, our colleagues, our marriages and partnerships) should be like. Lord, let harmony penetrate the fabric of all of our relationships, so that we experience the preciousness of harmony that David speaks about. Lord, thank you!)

Lord, thank you for your Word today! Help each of us strive to have harmony in all of our relationships. Knowing it is the responsibility of both individuals, help us to do everything in our power, to do our part, to live synchronously with one another. Lord, we love you!

May the Lord bless you and protect you. May the Lord smile on you and be gracious to you. May the Lord show you his favor and give you his peace.” (Numbers 6:24-26)

….AND MAY WE ALL PRACTICE THIS WITH ONE ANOTHER.
