Psalm 128 - A song for the ascent to Jerusalem. A psalm of Solomon.

In this song of praise, Solomon shares a reward of fearing the Lord and following His ways. Here’s the psalm in its entirety: “How happy are those who fear the Lord – all who follow his ways! You will enjoy the fruit of your labor. How happy you will be! How rich your life! Your wife will be like a fruitful vine, flourishing within your home. And look at all those children! There they sit around your table as vigorous and healthy as young olive trees, for those who fear him. (Yes, Lord! The formula to being happy is following your ways! Thank you, Lord!)

May the Lord continually bless you from Zion. May you see Jerusalem prosper as long as you live. May you live to enjoy your grandchildren. And may Israel have quietness and peace.” (Psalm 128)

Lord, thank you for your Word today! Help us follow your ways, so we can enjoy the rich life you have given us. Lord, we love you!

May the Lord bless you and protect you. May the Lord smile on you and be gracious to you. May the Lord show you his favor and give you his peace.” (Numbers 6:24-26)

….AND MAY WE ALL PRACTICE THIS WITH ONE ANOTHER.
