Psalm 113

In this song of praise, the psalmist challenges the people to find someone who can compare to the Lord. Here’s the psalm in its entirety: “Yes, give praise, O servants of the Lord. Praise the name of the Lord! Blessed be the name of the Lord forever and ever. Everywhere – from east to west – praise the name of the Lord. For the Lord is high above the nations; his glory is far greater than the heavens.

Who can be compared with the Lord our God, who is enthroned on high? Far below him are the heavens and the earth. (Yes, Lord! What on this earth is bigger than you? What problems do we face that you can’t handle? Lord, thank you! You are worthy of all praise!) He stoops to look, and he lifts the poor from the dirt and the needy from the garbage dump. He sets them among princes, even the princes of his own people! He gives the barren woman a home, so that she becomes a happy mother.

Praise the Lord! (Psalm 113)

Lord, thank you for your Word today! Thank you for demonstrating your greatness. For regularly showing us there is nothing more powerful and greater than you…no problem, no person, no disease, no anything! Lord, we love you!

May the Lord bless you and protect you. May the Lord smile on you and be gracious to you. May the Lord show you his favor and give you his peace.” (Numbers 6:24-26)

….AND MAY WE ALL PRACTICE THIS WITH ONE ANOTHER.
