In this song of praise, the psalmist is telling us that the Lord deserves our praise. Here’s the psalm in its entirety: “Shout with joy to the Lord, O earth! Worship the Lord with gladness. Come before him, singing with joy. Acknowledge that the Lord is God! He made us, and we are his. We are his people, the sheep of his pasture. (Yes!!! Let us worship the Lord with gladness!)
Enter his gates with thanksgiving; go into his courts with praise. Give thanks to him and bless his name. For the Lord is good. His unfailing love continues forever, and his faithfulness continues to each generation." (Psalm 100) (Yes, Lord! You deserve to be praised! How often have you blessed us? How often have you protected us? How often have you restored us? How often have you made a way out of no way? How often have you __________? Fill in the blank people! The Lord has blessed us too many times to count! Give Him your praise everyday, all day!!!)
Lord, thank you for your Word today! Help us see your amazingness each and everyday, and in that, give us the presence of mind to honor you and praise you continuously. Lord, we love you!
May the Lord bless you and protect you. May the Lord smile on you and be gracious to you. May the Lord show you his favor and give you his peace.” (Numbers 6:24-26)
