Proverbs 25 - More Proverbs of Solomon

Welcome back, Good People! I hope you all had a wonderful Juneteenth last week Monday. I was out of town for a mini vacation for the week, but I am back and ready to continue our study.

In this chapter, Solomon returns to sharing more one-liners. Here’s one I’ve been paying attention to for my spirit, not that I’m not already embracing it, but because I want it to remain consistent in my character: “Patience can persuade a prince, and soft speech can crush strong opposition.” (verse 15) This, also, falls in line with the last verse of this chapter: “A person without self-control is as defenseless as a city with broken-down walls.” (verse 28)

Read the rest of Proverbs 25 for yourself, and see what other verses speak to you.

Lord, thank you for your Word today! Help us be who you want us to be. Help us consistently practice patience and soft speech, so we can always remain in control. Lord, we love you!

May the Lord bless you and protect you. May the Lord smile on you and be gracious to you. May the Lord show you his favor and give you his peace.” (Numbers 6:24-26)

….AND MAY WE ALL PRACTICE THIS WITH ONE ANOTHER.
