Proverbs 18

In this chapter, Solomon shares his knowledge on friendship. Here are a couple verses to digest: “It’s harder to make amends with an offended friend than to capture a fortified city.” (verse 19) In verse 24, Solomon says, “There are “friends” who destroy each other, but a real friend sticks closer than a brother.”

Read the rest of Proverbs 18 for yourself, and take in the rest of Solomon’s wisdom on friendship and life.

Lord, thank you for your Word today! Help us be the individuals you want us to be. Help us be the friends you want us to be. And when we fall short of your expectations, help us find the right words to bring satisfaction and make amends, for as your Word states, “Words satisfy the soul as food satisfies the stomach.” (Proverbs 18:20) Lord, we love you!

May the Lord bless you and protect you. May the Lord smile on you and be gracious to you. May the Lord show you his favor and give you his peace.” (Numbers 6:24-26)

….AND MAY WE ALL PRACTICE THIS WITH ONE ANOTHER.
