In this chapter, Solomon, again, provides us with lasting wisdom. Something we all strive to have is honor; therefore, it would be wise for us to understand the relationship of humility and honor. Solomon explains this relationship in verse 33…”Fear of the Lord teaches a person to be wise; humility precedes honor.” It sounds like, If we want honor in our lives, we must learn to humble ourselves.

Lord, thank you for your Word today! Help us strive to apply your wisdom each day, as we all are a “work in progress”. Lord, we love you!
