In this chapter, Solomon continues to provide us with chunks of wisdom. Here is one that jumped out at me: “There is a path before each person that seems right, but it ends in death.” (Verse 12) Wow…that is powerful! Everything that may seem or feel right, is not right. So many times in our life we say, “It feels right!” How do we discern when it’s not? This is when, I believe, we start with seeking the Lord in prayer and then being still.

Lord, thank you for your Word today! Help us grow our wisdom through reading your Word. Allow it to rest in our souls, so when it is needed, we have the ability and discernment to choose the correct path. Lord, we love you!
May the Lord bless you and protect you. May the Lord smile on you and be gracious to you. May the Lord show you his favor and give you his peace.” (Numbers 6:24-26)
