Proverbs 13

In this chapter, God continues to speak to me, as Solomon continues his one-liners. I have always been known for a quiet, calm, and controlled disposition, but I was nowhere close to that reputation over the weekend. Here is one of Solomon’s nuggets that spoke to me this morning: “Those who control their tongue will have a long life; a quick retort can ruin everything.” (Proverbs 13:3)

Read the rest of Proverbs 13 for yourself, and hopefully one of these nuggets will speak to you.

Lord, thank you for your Word today! Thank you for continuing to develop me. Thank you for allowing me to see myself so that I can grow and be all you want me to be. When others see me, I want them to see you. When others hear me, I want them to hear you. Whatever we do, Lord, allow the God within us to be seen and heard. Help us be the light on top of the hill. Lord, we love you!

May the Lord bless you and protect you. May the Lord smile on you and be gracious to you. May the Lord show you his favor and give you his peace.” (Numbers 6:24-26)

….AND MAY WE ALL PRACTICE THIS WITH ONE ANOTHER.
