Isaiah 16

This chapter is a continuation of the previous chapter, as it continues to lay out the fate of Moab. Here’s the last few verses of the chapter: “On the hilltops the people of Moab will pray in anguish to their idols, but it will do them no good. They will cry to the gods in their temples, but no one will come to save them.

The Lord has already said this about Moab in the past. But now the Lord says, “Within three years, without fail, the glory of Moab will be ended, and few of its people will be left alive.” (Isaiah 16:12-14)

As usual, read the rest of the chapter for yourself, draw some conclusions, make some connections, and strive to deepen your knowledge.

Lord, thank you for your Word today! Help us to worship only you! There are no other gods for us, except for you! Lord, we love you!

May the Lord bless you and protect you. May the Lord smile on you and be gracious to you. May the Lord show you his favor and give you his peace.” (Numbers 6:24-26)

….AND MAY WE ALL PRACTICE THIS WITH ONE ANOTHER.
