Ezekiel 46

This chapter is a continuation of the previous chapter, as the Lord continues describing the responsibilities of the prince.  Something I learned is that the prince is responsible for all of the sacrifices.  What was surprising, however, is that sacrifices needed to be daily.  Here’s a portion of the text that speaks to this:  “Each morning a year-old lamb with no physical defects must be sacrificed as a burnt offering to the Lord.  With the lamb, a grain offering must also be given to the Lord – about two and a half quarts of flour with a third of a gallon of olive oil to moisten the flour.  This will be a permanent law for you.  The lamb, the grain offering, and the olive oil must be given as a daily sacrifice every morning without fail.”  (Ezekiel 46:13-15)

Read the rest of the chapter for yourself and learn about the Temple’s kitchens where the sacrifices will be cooked.

Lord, thank you for your Word today!  Thank you for the ultimate sacrifice you made for us!  Your graciousness, favor, and love for us is truly amazing!  Lord, we love you!

May the Lord bless you and protect you.  May the Lord smile on you and be gracious to you.  May the Lord show you his favor and give you his peace.” (Numbers 6:24-26)

….AND MAY WE ALL PRACTICE THIS WITH ONE ANOTHER.
