Ezekiel 42 - Rooms for the Priests

In this chapter, Ezekiel continues his tour of the new Temple.  Here’s a portion of the ending text of this chapter:  “Then the man told me, “These rooms that overlook the Temple from the north and south are holy.  It is there that the priests who offer sacrifices to the Lord will eat the most holy offerings.  And they will use these rooms to store the grain offerings, sin offerings, and guilt offerings because these rooms are holy.  When the priests leave the Holy Place, they must not go directly to the outer courtyard.  They must first take off the clothes they wore while ministering because these clothes are holy.  They must put on other clothes before entering the parts of the building complex open to the public.” (Ezekiel 42:13-14) (Wow!  God is showing Ezekiel everything He wants for His new Temple, so Ezekiel can share with others for the Temple’s construction.  What instructions is God giving each of us?)

Read the rest of the chapter for yourself to increase your knowledge of the design of the Lord’s Temple.

Lord, thank you for your Word today!  Help us recognize the plans that you have for us.  Help us see the blueprints you have for our lives, and discern the instructions you are giving us through our visions, dreams, and other methods you choose.  Lord, we love you!

May the Lord bless you and protect you.  May the Lord smile on you and be gracious to you.  May the Lord show you his favor and give you his peace.” (Numbers 6:24-26)

….AND MAY WE ALL PRACTICE THIS WITH ONE ANOTHER.
