This chapter is all recounted from 1 Kings 9:10-28. There are additions and deletions of details between the two chapters; so, as usual, read it for yourself, see how it aligns with our lesson in 1 Kings, draw some conclusions, make some connections, and strive to deepen your knowledge.
A verse that stands out in this chapter that wasn’t in 1 Kings is, “Solomon did not deviate in any way from David’s commands concerning the priests and Levites and the treasuries.” (2 Chronicles 8:15) That’s impressive. Solomon did everything that his father, David, commanded him to do.
