Welcome back! I hope you all had a great Spring Break!
This chapter is a recount of 2 Kings 22 and 23:1-3. Something that stood out in this chapter is how Josiah required everyone to worship and follow the Lord, and in the last verse of this chapter, it states, “And throughout the rest of his lifetime, they did not turn away from the Lord, the God of their ancestors.” Notice how it said, “...they did not turn away from the Lord”. What an accomplishment for Josiah to get all of Judah to recommit themselves to the Lord. For such a young king, he grew to be an amazing leader.
As usual, read it for yourself, see how it aligns with our lesson in 2 Kings, draw some conclusions, make some connections, and strive to deepen your knowledge.
